Yesterday morning I was lucky to be able to get some time to photograph the lovely Priya. She is already on her way on yet another adventure for 2011 but she was able to squeeze in a 45 minute photo shoot with me. And I am so grateful because I LOVE these images! These make me so very very very happy!! I think these images are so sexy and so very chic. Priya was a natural in front of my camera; despite what she may say about modeling This shoot took place in her and her husbands Dallas loft. I love how comfortable and sexy she looks at the same time.

When I was planing this shoot the interior of their Dallas loft didn’t cross my mind. I don’t know why because I have been in love with her and her husbands loft from the moment I stepped foot in it a couple of years ago. They have such an amazing do it yourself (DIY) style! They are world travelers and they have incorporated all that they love into decorating their beautiful home.

Incorporating props or a whole environment that is personal to the subject into ones photo shoot just isn’t done enough, in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE photographing in parks and walking down the street. I love open spaces but I am going to make a stronger effort into working with my clients into incorporating more personal items into the scene.

Now with that said, look for more images of Priya and her loft (what kind of images you ask? she is a yoga teacher and a dancer)!! I’m so looking forward to the next sessions but first please let me know what you think of this set!
