I am so excited about this post! I had the most fantastic honor last weekend to photograph my dear, dear, dear friends Karl & Rendi during their celebration of love. I’ve known the two of them and our circle of friends for over 5 years when we all decided to learn African dance at UNT. At that time, I had no clue that the threads of dance would be so strong that it would keep us together after all these years and across the globe.
This wedding day was so special and meaningful from the intricate details to the late-night jams off the iPod. Homemade designs, deserts and decor brought very special meaning to every event of the day. The ceremony was both entertaining and romantic coming from the grooms father and the readings from a friend, sister and mother really emphasized that we are all part of Karl & Rendi’s community. In these photos, I hope you see all the sweet love and joy I do.
